By purchasing a ticket, booking a service, or attending a Ghostly Revelations event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Please read them carefully before booking.

1. Age Requirements

  • Guests aged 12 years and over are welcome to attend our events unless a particular event states otherwise.
  • Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult or responsible person aged 18 or over.
  • When booking for anyone under 18, please let us know their age and who they will be attending with.
  • If a guest appears to be under 18 and is unaccompanied, we may request proof of age.
  • Anyone who does not meet the stated age requirements may be refused entry or asked to leave.

2. Accessibility, Inclusion & Additional Needs

Ghostly Revelations welcomes guests with disabilities, hidden disabilities, neurodivergence, additional needs, and anyone who may require extra support.

  • Please tell us about any accessibility requirements or additional needs when booking wherever possible.
  • We will always do our best to make reasonable arrangements to support your comfort, safety, and enjoyment.
  • Some investigations take place in historic buildings where access may be uneven, restricted, or unsuitable for some mobility needs. Please contact us before booking if you have specific accessibility requirements.
  • Where possible, our events include a Safe Zone where guests can take a break, have some quiet time, reset, or step away from the investigation.

3. Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Guests must not attend an event under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • The misuse of alcohol or drugs is not permitted during any Ghostly Revelations event.
  • Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside venues and may only take place in designated areas where permitted by the venue.
  • Anyone found to be carrying or using illegal drugs, or behaving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, may be removed from the event without a refund.

These rules are in place to protect guests, staff, investigators, and venue personnel.

4. Bookings & Payments

  • Tickets may be purchased through the official Ghostly Revelations website or authorised Eventbrite listings.
  • Where a deposit option is offered, a £20 non-refundable deposit per person is required to secure the booking.
  • The remaining balance must be paid by the stated payment deadline.
  • Unless otherwise stated for a particular event, the remaining balance is due no later than one month before the event date.
  • Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the booking and the place being offered for resale.
  • Deposits are subject to the cancellation policy below.

5. Ticket Transfers

  • Tickets may not be transferred to another person without prior approval from Ghostly Revelations.
  • Any request to transfer a ticket must be made directly to Ghostly Revelations.
  • We may request the name and contact details of the person taking the place.
  • Tickets must not be resold, swapped, or transferred through unauthorised channels without written approval.

If you are unsure about transferring a ticket, please contact us before making any arrangements.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Deposits are non-refundable except where Ghostly Revelations cancels or reschedules an event, or where a refund is required by law.
  • If you cancel your booking or do not attend an event, refunds will not normally be available.
  • If an event is cancelled or postponed by Ghostly Revelations, affected customers will be offered an appropriate option, which may include:
    • transferring the booking to another date;
    • receiving a refund of monies paid; or
    • receiving a Ghostly Revelations voucher, where agreed.
  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have under UK law.

7. Authorised Ticket Purchase

Tickets should only be purchased through:

  • The official Ghostly Revelations website; or
  • An official Ghostly Revelations Eventbrite listing.

Tickets purchased through unauthorised sellers or third parties may not be valid, and Ghostly Revelations cannot guarantee entry for tickets obtained through unauthorised channels.

If you are unsure whether a ticket or seller is genuine, please contact us before making payment.

8. Event Conduct & Behaviour

All guests are expected to behave respectfully towards:

  • Other guests;
  • Ghostly Revelations staff and investigators;
  • Venue staff;
  • The venue and its property.

We reserve the right to remove anyone who:

  • behaves aggressively, abusively, or inappropriately;
  • deliberately disrupts an investigation;
  • damages venue property;
  • refuses to follow reasonable safety instructions;
  • is under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
  • breaches these Terms & Conditions.

Anyone removed from an event because of misconduct will not normally be entitled to a refund.

Serious or repeated misconduct may result in a guest being refused entry to future Ghostly Revelations events.

9. Photography, Filming & Live Streaming

Guests may take personal photographs and reasonable video clips during an event, subject to venue restrictions and instructions from the Ghostly Revelations team.

However:

  • Live streaming is strictly prohibited.
  • Real-time broadcasting or posting of investigation activity is not permitted.
  • This includes Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and other online platforms.
  • Guests must respect the privacy of other attendees.
  • Guests must not deliberately photograph or film another attendee without their permission.
  • Certain areas or activities may have additional filming restrictions.

Ghostly Revelations may photograph or film events for promotional, educational, documentary, or social-media purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

Content created by Ghostly Revelations, including photographs, videos, investigation reports, written content, graphics, logos, branding, and other original material, remains the property of Ghostly Revelations or the relevant rights holder.

Such content must not be reproduced, commercially used, or distributed without appropriate permission.

11. Health & Safety

Some Ghostly Revelations investigations take place in historic, old, or unusual buildings.

Guests may encounter:

  • Uneven floors;
  • Stairs;
  • Low lighting;
  • Narrow passageways;
  • Cold or damp conditions;
  • Other hazards associated with historic buildings.

Guests must:

  • Wear suitable clothing and footwear;
  • Follow instructions from Ghostly Revelations staff and venue personnel;
  • Remain within permitted areas;
  • Never enter restricted areas;
  • Report safety concerns to a member of the team.

If you have a medical, mobility, accessibility, or other condition that may affect your participation, please contact us before attending so we can discuss any reasonable arrangements.

12. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings during events.

Ghostly Revelations cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

We recommend that guests avoid bringing unnecessary valuables to investigations.

13. Paranormal Investigations

Ghostly Revelations provides paranormal investigation experiences for entertainment, research, exploration, and educational purposes.

We do not guarantee that paranormal activity or unexplained phenomena will occur during an event.

Investigations may involve darkness, unusual sounds, environmental conditions, psychological experiences, or other situations that some guests may find unsettling.

Participation is voluntary. Guests should inform a member of the team if they become uncomfortable or wish to stop taking part in an activity.

14. Event Changes

Ghostly Revelations reserves the right to make reasonable changes to an event where necessary.

This may include changes to:

  • Investigation areas;
  • Running order;
  • Activities or experiments;
  • Event timings;
  • Team members;
  • Venue arrangements.

Changes may be necessary because of venue restrictions, safety requirements, operational circumstances, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

15. Event Cancellation or Postponement

If Ghostly Revelations is unable to proceed with an event, we will communicate with affected customers as soon as reasonably possible.

Where an event is cancelled or postponed, customers will be offered the appropriate options in accordance with our cancellation policy and applicable law.

16. Liability

Guests attend Ghostly Revelations events voluntarily and must follow all reasonable safety instructions.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Ghostly Revelations is not responsible for loss, damage, or injury arising from a guest's failure to follow reasonable safety instructions, venue rules, or these Terms & Conditions, subject always to applicable law.

17. Agreement

By purchasing a ticket, booking a service, or attending a Ghostly Revelations event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and any applicable venue rules.
