Once home to the forgotten, the poor, and the desperate, life here was brutally harsh. Families were separated, children were punished for the smallest misdeeds, and men and women toiled endlessly for the bare essentials of survival.

For over 170 years, Gressenhall Workhouse housed thousands under grim Victorian conditions. Its punishment cell—a small, airless stone chamber—confined rule-breakers for days at a time.

One inmate, a 12-year-old girl named Harriet Kettle, was notoriously punished after accusations of rebellion and arson. Some visitors believe her spirit still roams the corridors in search of forgiveness.

Previous investigations have reported:

• shadowy figures moving through the Laundry and Dormitories

By request we are returning to this property whichhas One well-documented and eerie story thats associated with the old Tide Mill in the village of Tidal River, located in the English county of Suffolk. In the late 19th century, the mill became notorious for a series of strange and unsettling events that are still happening to this day the unfortunate souls are tormented and are unable to leave due to being bound to the site and workers are unafraid to make themselves known.

The mill is haunted by a main restless spirit of a miller who had tragically drowned in the mill's sluice. This miller had been an experienced worker, but one night, during a particularly violent storm, he was pulled into the mill's gears and drowned. His body was later found trapped within the machinery.

Following his death, workers and villager locals to date have reported a series of disturbing occurrences. Shadows were seen moving around the mill, strange noises echoed through the empty building, and people felt an unsettling presence, particularly near the sluice where the miller had drowned. Some have heard the sound of footsteps and the faint cries of a man in distress during the quietest hours of the night.

Despite various attempts to investigate or rationalize these events, the reports persisted, leading to the mill gaining a reputation as one of the most haunted sites in the region. Even today, visitors who dare to approach the old Tide Mill often report an eerie sense of being watched and sudden, inexplicable cold spots. we have managed to gain full entry to this location so we can seek answers to the troubled souls who dwell at the mill.
